ITINERARY
This day tour will take you to Bursa, the first capital of the Ottoman Empire. Also called ‘Yesil Bursa’ for its parks and gardens, it is the fourth largest city in Turkey today. It is known for its peaches, chestnuts and its silk industry.
We will pick you up at your hotel between 7:30 and 8:00 AM for the three hour drive to Bursa. We will visit the Muradiye, the Mausoleums of Osman and Orhan Bey, Grand Mosque (Ulu Camii), the Green Mosque, Koza Han (the silk bazaar), and the Covered Bazaar. We will have lunch in one of the traditional restaurants in old town. We will depart at 5pm for our return to Istanbul about 5PM, returning you to your hotel about 8 pm.
