Sea Kayaking in Kekova
ITINERARY
An exciting alternative for exploring the famous Kekova region, Sea Kayaking allows you to paddle over the Sunken City at your own pace and avoid the tourist ‘rush hour’ . Now an island, Kekova was once connected to the mainland. However, a series of earthquakes and other geological influences buried it six meters (20 feet) under the sea. The area is off limits to swimmers and divers so kayaking is the closest you can get to the underwater foundations, walls and mosaics dating back 2000 years.
We also offer longer tours with overnight camping or a weeklong kayaking tour based in Gocek and Kekova.
Please contact us for more information on any of the above activities, or to arrange for a paragliding, canyoning, diving, sea kayaking, or jeep safari adventure. info@barefootplustravel.com
