    Day 1 : Ephesus

    You will be picked up at your hotel in Istanbul and transferred to the airport for your early morning flight to Izmir. Your driver and guide will meet you at the Izmir airport and drive you to Ephesus where you will see the “Seven Churches of Revelation” where St. John brought Mary in fulfillment of his pledge to Jesus to protect her. From there you will continue to the House of Virgin Mary where many believe she spent the final years of her life. After lunch, the tour will continue to Laodicea, a crossroads of the ancient world. Overnight in Pamukkale.

    Day 2 : Pamukkale

    After breakfast at your hotel we will visit the ancient city of Hierapolis, home of Philip the Evangelist. From there, the tour will proceed to Philadelphia, the youngest of the Seven Churches of Revelation. In the afternoon we will visit the ruins of the church of Sardis, the ancient Lydian capital, an important place in mythology. In the evening we’ll visit Thyatira which was one of the principal towns from which Christianity was spread, and visit the ruins where the Thyatira church once stood. Then we’ll head to Pergamon where we will spend the night. Overnight in Pergamon.

    Day 3 : Pergamon

    After breakfast we will visit the ruins of ancient Pergamon, which was a major a health center and where treatment with music and water, meditation and blood transfusions, were first used. The impressive structures of Pergamon date to 339 BC. After lunch we will head back to Izmir to visit St. Polycarp Church and do a short tour of the city. We will transfer you to the Izmir airport to catch your evening flight to Istanbul. Upon arrival at the Istanbul airport you’ll be transferred to your hotel.
