One of the most recently established festivals in Istanbul, the Minipax Festival, is to take place on August 22nd. The event will take place at Suma beach in Kilyos, far from the hustle and bustle of the city.
In a seaside location perfectly suited for a day-and-night celebration with that special summer holiday feel to it, the festival will boast performances by artists from the whole spectrum of electronic music, thereby guaranteeing that fans of all genres will most definitely be pleased.
Starting at noon and lasting 22 hours, over 30 different musicians will play on three different stages, ranging from world-class DJs to newcomers. Some of the artists recently announced are Damian Lazarus, Ellen Allien, George Fitzgerald, and Pan-Pot, to name only a few.
And apart from the musical performances, many beach-side physical activities and workshops will be set up throughout the day, as well as a food court and a few pop-up shops from young local designers.
In any case, whatever you choose to do at Minipax, rest assured you will never be at the mercy of stress or boredom – so don’t forget to bring your sunscreen and of course your energy with you! General admission tickets will be available at the door.
